the eddie andel...err, the phantom gourmet food fest that happens every fall is a pretty decent value, on the other hand

When the entry fee is equal to almost half of what you'd spend on a meal and a drink, yeah, the whole experience is a bit of a ripoff. The only thing that saves it from being a complete ripoff is the quality of some of the food.
I don't understand why they don't just offer free lunch admission to everyone that works in downtown. The income from the increased foot traffic would subsidize the lost entrance fee revenue of those of us coming for dinner
I don't know that Eddie could handle being the Phantom...
